In Russia begins production of a unique wheelchair-transformer

As the press service of the holding "Schwabe", the company will begin production of the wheelchair-transformer, able to overcome previously inaccessible obstacles, having the course on the track rod and the high speed movement.

High-tech means of transport for people with disabilities was developed by inventors from Novosibirsk. At the moment we have prototypes and tests. Thanks to the unique retractable tracked chassis, the wheelchair is able to overcome obstacles such as curbs and steps. Additionally, rechargeable batteries built into the stroller allow you to move over a distance of 23 kilometers, reaching speeds of 7 km/h on «common» wheels and up to 0.7 km/h on tracks.
