During a series of clinical research professionals selected 2 groups of women, suffering from two different subtypes of triple-negative breast cancer and tried to stop the growth of tumors and inhibit the development of metastases. In the end it turned out that the antibodies were able to reduce tumor size by 30% in 5% of women from one group and 23% from another, and to stop the growth of metastases turned out at 21% and 17% of patients, respectively.
