The first flight of a private Japanese rocket fails

The Engineers, who controlled the launch and flight of a rocket, stopped to get information out of her almost immediately after launch. Realizing that they will not be able to control it, they decided to abort the first flight. Serious equipment for the missile is not installed, deciding for the first time be limited to cameras and sensors, with which you can track your flight «Momo».
It was originally planned to launch a rocket to an altitude of 100 kilometers, and then drop it into the Pacific Ocean by parachute.
The Company Interstellar Technologies was developing its own missiles since 1997. Height «Momo» 8.5 meters, weight 250 kg and a diameter of — 0.5 meters. With such modest characteristics of a carrier rocket capable of lifting loads weighing up to 20 kilograms to a height of 120 kilometers in ten minutes — so the rocket can fly with a full tank of fuel.
«Momo» was installed a small engine on a liquid ethanol fuel which should be enough to perform simple tasks, so the rocket will be used for launching microsatellites — this is the aim of the developers in the future.
Now that the first flight of the rocket failed, the ambitious plans of Interstellar Technologies will have to be postponed. The estimated date of the new flight is not reported, but engineers are Troubleshooting.
