Whether Dating apps are helping to find a partner for sex Source:

It's No secret that most users app for singles like Tinder and Bumble are using these services for short-term relationship of a sexual nature. In other words, they are looking for a partner for sex without any further commitments. How effectively to use similar apps for this purpose? More sexual partners, users of Tinder? On these questions tried to answer through the research.

The Norwegian University of science and technology conducted a survey among students. Interested in their behavior in social networks and apps, as well as their sex life. This study confirmed that users app for singles primarily use services to search for short-term sexual relationships. But they they were not find. At least not more than the people who are looking for partners in real life.

Out Of 641 student in the age from 19 to 29 years, nearly half admitted that in some measure they had application for Dating based on users. One-fifth of the respondents is active users of such applications. It would seem that if most of you are looking for the same thing, what's stopping you? But something still stops, because it turned out that users of Tinder and Bumble are unable to boast of a large number of relationships of a sexual nature in comparison with people who do not use services.

The Mons of Bedeken, associate Professor of psychology Norwegian University of science and technology, explains that Tinder only is a replacement for attempts at Dating in the bar. Instead of going alone to a bar and meet there with someone, people do it with their smartphones in a more comfortable environment. For users of Tinder has changed the meeting place, but the end result hasn't changed. In other words, the services for Dating are not a more effective way of finding a partner than other methods.

Research has indicated something else. For example, women spend more time in the application for Dating due to the fact that they carefully study users before you make a decision. Men act more effectively, taking a decision much faster. But the most important — both women and men, as a rule, use Dating apps when they have no other occupation. They run a Tinder like mobile game, exclusively in my spare time and purely for entertainment.
