Amazon stops selling smart toys due to safety concerns

Amazon has announced that it has removed from its online store CloudPets, intelligent toy with security issues. Last week it was also made by Walmart and Target. CloudPets makes the company Spiral Toys is a talking toys that connect to the Network, can record voice and activate via online-application via Bluetooth. In 2017, the hackers gained access to the database CloudPets, which was the e-mail addresses, passwords, and voice recordings of children, for which the attackers demanded a ransom at least twice. The hacking affected more than 800,000 people.
Mozilla has worked with cyber security company Cure53 and found that security holes are not patched CloudPets 2017. They still exist, after more than a year. Spiral Toys for queries not responding.
