AI wrote its own version of the Super Mario games

To teach the program to recreate the previously seen games, the developers have provided the AI with a visual dictionary which contains all the game sprites, and even gave the program a set of basic concepts about the position of all objects and their speed. So the AI could focus on video, analyzing what he «sees». Watching the game from the side, artificial intelligence, time-lapse breaks the gameplay, marks seen through the tokens and by matching the picture with its documentation, is recreating the game yourself.
While AI is able to work with 2D platformers. He has several successfully recreated games, including a Super Mario Bros. and Megaman, but in the future the developers plan to expand opportunities of the program by teaching it to do 3D games on video.
